Domestic industrial robots have gradually entered the fields

In 2017, the output of industrial robots in China increased by 68.1% year-on-year. At the same time, industrial robot manufacturing has continuously broken through the three key core component technologies of the reducer, servo control and servo motor that have been criticized by the industry, and has become a typical representative of China's manufacturing industry to accelerate to the high-end of the industrial value chain.
Have the technology to talk about high-end

This is also the first robot in the industry to realize the hardwareization of robot algorithms and the intelligentization and localization of hardware products.
Control systems, servo motors, and reducers are the three key components of industrial robots, but they have long relied on imports. Because of this, the high-end industrial robot market for six-axis and above, which is used in the field of automobile manufacturing, is mainly occupied by Japanese and European and American companies. Domestically produced six-axis industrial robots account for less than 10% of the total installed capacity of industrial robots nationwide.
Do not overcome the core technology, and talk about moving to the high end of the industry. “In 2017, technological innovation drove the transformation and upgrading of the industrial robot industry.” Yu Jianing, director of the Information and Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said in an interview with the Economic Daily that domestic manufacturers have overcome control systems, servo motors and deceleration in key components. Part of the key core components and other key problems, the control system has basically reached the international advanced level, and the key components are gradually localized, which will have a positive effect on reducing the cost of domestic robots and improving the market competitiveness and market share of domestic robots. . In addition, in terms of software, artificial intelligence technologies such as speech recognition and image recognition have also reached the international advanced level, and significant advances have been made in robotic ontology optimization design and performance evaluation, high-speed, high-precision control and other technologies.
Previously, due to the lack of core technology, six-axis and above robots are the difficulty of domestic industrial robots. According to the latest data from the China Robotics Industry Alliance, in 2017, the multi-joint robot became the first model of domestic industrial robot sales. "The increase in the proportion of six-axis robots represented by multi-joint robots indicates that the structural adjustment and upgrading of domestic robot products is progressing in an orderly manner," said Song Xiaogang, executive director and secretary general of the China Robot Industry Alliance.
Breaking the low-end repeat supply
According to statistics, there are more than 1,000 enterprises producing robots in China, of which more than 200 are robotic body manufacturing enterprises, most of which are mainly assembled and processed, at the low end of the industrial chain, with low industrial concentration and small overall scale. At the same time, there are more than 50 industrial parks that focus on the development of robots. Many parks tend to focus on attracting investment, light technology innovation, and light talent training.
In the high end of the industrial chain, Japan and Germany have obvious advantages. The former's strength lies in the research and development of key components of industrial robots (reducers, servo motors, etc.), the latter's advantages are raw materials, body components and system integration.
From the application field, the field of welding, which is difficult to operate and the most widely used in the world, foreign robots account for 84%; in the automotive industry where high-end applications are concentrated, foreign companies account for 90%.
"At present, an important manifestation of the positive structural reform of the supply chain of China's industrial robot industry is to work hard on the word 'breaking', vigorously break the ineffective supply, and promote the elimination of excess capacity." Yu Jianing said.
In view of the repeated construction of the robot industry, the low-end of high-end industries, and the over-capacity of low-end industries, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the “Implementation Measures for the Standardization Management of Industrial Robot Industry” in 2017, which stipulates industrial robot enterprises that meet the “Standard Conditions for Industrial Robot Industry”. Implementing announcement management on a voluntary basis, strengthening industry monitoring and guiding the healthy and orderly development of the industry.
At present, the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Northeast China and other regions have formed a certain scale of the robot industry cluster, and found their respective advantages. For example, the Yangtze River Delta region is dominated by Jiangsu, Shanghai and Zhejiang, with the advantage of a strong electronic information technology industry base; the Pearl River Delta region has the advantage of a control system.
Meet the needs of diversity
Judging from the effect of structural reform on the supply side, in addition to "breaking", China's industrial robot industry is still working hard on the word "standing" and "falling". The so-called "立立" means that the variety categories of industrial robots are continuously expanded and optimized, and high-end products such as cooperative robots, dual-arm robots, and intelligent robots are put into production; the so-called "down" is the key zero with control systems, servo motors, and reducers. With the gradual localization of components, the cost of industrial robots is further reduced.
The data shows that the application range of domestic industrial robots continued to increase in 2017, and has served the 37 major industries in the national economy and 102 industries. From the perspective of application area distribution, handling and loading and unloading are still the primary areas, followed by welding and brazing. In terms of sales, the automotive industry, computer, communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing, general equipment manufacturing, and electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industries use the largest number of industrial robots; in addition, furniture manufacturing, food manufacturing, wine, beverages and refining The sales volume of the light industry represented by the tea manufacturing industry has become a new bright spot.
“In short, while the industrial robots in China maintain a relatively high growth rate, the quality of industrial development is gradually improving, and the overall development level is gradually moving towards the middle and high end. The market scale has maintained rapid growth and the scope of application has been further expanded. The supply level has continued to increase, with China's relevant Enterprises and institutions have increased investment in research and development, and innovations have emerged. Breakthroughs have been made in some core components, and the localization process is accelerating." Yu Jianing said.
